Day 1 London ▶ Eurostar™ ▶ Brussels ▶ Amsterdam
We meet our Travel Director this morning before boarding the Eurostar™ for a high-speed train journey to Brussels and luxury coach trip to Amsterdam. Take to the Dutch capital’s canals joining your new travel companions for a canal cruise which includes a light dinner and welcome drink. (WR)

Day 2 Amsterdam ▶ Cologne ▶ Rhine Cruise ▶ Rhineland
Stop in Cologne to see the iconic twin spires of its imposing Cathedral, before boarding a river cruise along the Rhine to St Goar. This evening we stay in the Rhinelands and enjoy dinner at our hotel. (BB, D)

Day 3 Rhineland ▶ Heidelberg ▶ Colmar ▶ Engelberg (2 Nights)
The imposing ruins of Heidelberg Castle feature on our journey to Colmar where we will enjoy an orientation before continuing our journey through the vineyards of Alsace. Our home the next two nights is the mountain retreat of Engelberg where we will dine in our hotel. (BB, D)

Day 4 Lucerne Excursion
Explore the charming medieval town of Lucerne, and its mournful Lion Monument and flowerlined Chapel Bridge. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or join an Optional Experience up one of the surrounding peaks. (BB)

Day 5 Engelberg ▶ Liechtenstein ▶ Innsbruck
Admire rugged alpine scenery en route to the fairy-tale Principality of Liechtenstein. We cross the Austrian border to Innsbruck and its Old Town where we will see the famous Golden Roof. (BB)

Day 6 Innsbruck ▶ Venice (2 Nights)
Cross the extraordinary Europa Bridge rising almost 200 metres above the Wipp Valley and follow the Brenner Pass to the magical island city of Venice. Spend this evening at leisure or consider taking an Optional Excursion on a gondola through the canals. (BB, DW)

Day 7 Venice Orientation e d
Navigating the bustling canals by private launch, we arrive in the gateway of Venice. Visit St. Mark’s Square, to view the Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs. We visit Giudecca Island for a fascinating Cultural Insight into the tradition of
Venetian glassmaking and spend the afternoon seeing the sights. (BB)

Day 8 Venice ▶ Rome (2 Nights)
Travel over the green and golden landscapes of Tuscany and Umbria, arriving in Rome where you’ll spend the next two nights enjoying la dolce vita. (BB) Hotel: V99

Day 9 Rome Sightseeing e d
Delve into the treasures of the Vatican City with a Local Specialist who will take you on a sightseeing tour through St. Peter’s Basilica to see Michelangelo’s Pietà. We cross the Tiber into Ancient Rome to see the mighty Colosseum and enjoy views of Circus Maximus before enjoying the day at leisure or joining an Optional Experience to see the frescoed ceiling of the
Sistine Chapel. (BB)

Day 10 Rome ▶ Pompeii ▶ Sorrento d
Enjoy a scenic drive to the Campania region where we’ll meet a Local Specialist who will share the tragic story of Pompeii. We arrive in the sophisticated seaside retreat of Sorrento this evening. (BB, DW)

Day 11 Sorrento ▶ Capri ▶ Assisi d
Cross the Bay of Naples to the Isle of Capri, where we will join our Local Specialist for a walking tour through its charming lanes. Travelling north, we view the restored Abbey of Monte Cassino, arriving later in Assisi to view St. Francis’ Basilica. (BB, DW)

Day 12 Assisi ▶ Florence Sightseeing d
Beautiful Tuscan and Umbrian landscapes follow our journey to Florence. We join a Local Specialist on an included walking tour to see the city’s spectacular heritage, architecture and open-air art. (BB)

Day 13 Florence ▶ Pisa ▶ Monaco ▶ Nice (2 Nights)
Journey to Pisa and its Square of Miracles to see the Leaning Tower and its imposing Baptistery. We visit the playground of Monaco and see the ornate Monte Carlo Casino before arriving in Nice. (BB)

Day 14 Nice ▶ St. Paul De Vence Excursion
Tread in the footsteps of famous French actors and artists who have regarded the medieval town of St. Paul de Vence as a haven, before visiting the historic Fragonard perfumery. (BB)

Day 15 Nice ▶ Avignon ▶ Lyon d
Visit the papal city of Avignon where you will see the Palais des Pap, Cathedral and the famous Pont d’Avignon. Enjoy delicious a Be My Guest lunch of Provençal cooking with Poppy Salinger, who will regale you with stories of her famous former husband. Travel to Lyon for an orientation tour including views of Fourvière Hill. (BB, BG)

Day 16 Lyon ▶ Beaune ▶ Paris (2 Nights)
We leave the beautiful Rhône landscape behind us, visiting the charming walled village of Beaune, before continuing north to Paris. (BB)

Join a Local Specialist to see the sights and sounds of Paris, including the grand Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe. See the city’s iconic skyline stretching far below as you ascend to the second level of
the Eiffel Tower. Join your Travel Director and newfound friends for a Farewell Dinner this evening. (BB, FD)

Day 18 Paris ▶ London
It’s time to bid France a fond adieu as we travel to Calais, crossing the English Channel to Dover before returning to London. (BB)
