Day 1 - Vancouver 
Welcome to cosmopolitan Vancouver, where your journey of wonder begins. Get to know your fellow explorers and your Scenic Tour Director over a sumptuous welcome dinner, and toast to the exhilarating adventure awaiting you. For the next two nights, you will be exclusively accommodated at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Your luxury hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, with culture, restaurants and world-class shopping right at your doorstep, plus you can take advantage of the added bonus of the Scenic office downstairs with our staff ready to welcome you and assist you with anything you may require. Please book flight to arrive prior to 5pm.

Day 2 - Vancouver 
The best time to be at one with nature is before the crowds arrive. Absorb the tranquility as you are the first to wander amongst the glistening morning dew of the rainforest, with exclusive early entrance to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.
Explore the many and varied sights, tastes and sounds of Vancouver during a city sightseeing tour.

Day 3 - Rocky Mountaineer > Kamloops 
One of the most iconic rail journeys in the world, two days of GoldLeaf Service is sure to be a highlight of your trip. Rocky Mountaineer is renowned for the delicious cuisine made for you on board, so you can enjoy the ultimate treat for the senses as you travel in luxurious comfort, gazing in awe at your surrounds through the dome glass windows and savouring delectable delights in the company of your newfound friends. Stay overnight at your Kamloops hotel as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer.

Day 4 - Rocky Mountaineer > Lake Louise 
Feel your awe and excitement peak as you carve through otherwise inaccessible terrain into the Canadian Rockies. Sip on local BC wines and beers as you soak up the magnificent scenery stretching as far as the eye can see. Reach the stunning natural wonder of Lake Louise and the opulent Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where your Special Stay for the next two nights is in a stunning lakeview room.

Day 5 - Lake Louise 
For the eager and early riser or the budding photographer, set a sunrise wake-up call so you don’t miss the stunning colour changes painted across the mountain, lake and glacier outside your window.

Fine or more casual dining are among your options this evening.

Day 6 - Lake Louise > Banff: 
Small town charm nestled in stunning mountain scenery greets you in Banff. Ride the Banff Gondola to experience jaw dropping views and settle into your iconic Special Stay for two nights at the Fairmont Banff Springs in a mountain or valley view room.
Italian, Japanese, German, Swiss Alpine flavoured or a restaurant with a Bow Valley view are among your selections of restaurants this evening.

Day 7 - Banff 
Take a helicopter flight over the Three Sisters Peaks, a Bow River float trip, rejuvenate in relaxing mineral pools or play nine holes of golf. Nature lovers may be enticed to take a guided nature walk or head into the mountains by wagon for a cowboy cookout lunch. In July, there is also the option for a day trip to the famous Calgary Stampede.
Your exclusive ‘Rocky Mountain Round Up’ evening of entertainment, fabulous food and western hospitality. Stetson hat and cowboy boots are optional.

Day 8 - Icefields Parkway > Jasper 
Travel along the acclaimed Icefields Parkway. Take an ‘Ice Explorer’ on the 6 kilometre long Athabasca Glacier and walk the Glacier Skywalk to truly appreciate nature’s beauty. Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife such as bears, elk or caribou. For the next two nights enjoy your stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Day 9 - Jasper 
Don your leathers and hit the open road on a Harley Davidson™ sidecar, or get amongst nature on a guided hike. You may prefer an aquatic adventure on an interpretive cruise, in a voyageur canoe or rafting down the Athabasca River. Alternatively, take a scenic drive around Jaspers’ stunning lakes and explore Maligne Canyon, or rise above it all to take in magnificent views on the Jasper SkyTram.

Day 10 - Jasper > Sun Peaks 
Discover how life was lived by the voyageurs, pioneers, fur traders and early settlers centuries ago as they battled to establish settlements along Canada’s trading route during an exclusive presentation at your hotel.
Sleep this evening at the quaint village of Sun Peaks, at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel.

Day 11 - Sun Peaks > Whistler

Day 12 - Whistler 
Soar above Whistler on a helicopter flight, zipline or Peak 2 Peak Gondola. Alternatively take a mountain adventure tour, a jet boat ride, a cycle tour or discover local flavours on a progressive lunch in Whistler Village.

Day 13 - Whistler > Victoria 
A ferry takes you across Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island. Enjoy an exclusive two night Special Stay at The Fairmont Empress, regally inspired and situated on Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

Day 14 - Victoria > Butchart Gardens 
Meander through the beautiful and diverse Butchart Gardens. Jennie Butchart set out to create beauty out of an abandoned quarry over a century ago and the gardens have been lovingly developed into the floral masterpiece you see today. If you rub Tacca, the Florentine bronze boar’s nose, it is said to bring you lots of luck.
Look out for orcas on a whale watching cruise by Zodiac or cruise boat. Alternatively choose to take a scenic floatplane flight, horse and carriage ride, indulge in afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress, fish for salmon, or take a guided walking food tour.

Day 15 - Vancouver > Alaskan Cruise 
Join your Cruise Director for a luxurious seven night Alaskan voyage on board ms Nieuw Amsterdam or ms Volendam. Each evening, unwind after the days adventures over included drinks with dinner. Keep an eye out for orcas, humpback whales or bald eagles from your verandah stateroom.

Day 16 - Scenic Cruising

Alaska’s state capital is only accessible by air or sea. Know you’ll never get lost as you explore the town.

Day 18 - Skagway 
Historic shop facades, wooden boardwalks and echoes of the gold rush typify Skagway, the gateway of the Klondike.

Day 19 - Glacier Bay 
A steaming cup of soup or even hot chocolate will keep you warm as you are mesmerised by the dramatic ice walls of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Glacier Bay has more actively calving glaciers than anywhere in the world. Hold your breath as a monumental chunk of ice splits off a glacier and thunders into the sea, and capture the impact shooting water hundreds of feet in the air. Then, wait for it to happen all over again. A National Park Service Ranger will interpret the natural wonders and wildlife you may see.

Day 20 - Ketchikan 
Alaska’s last port of call is Ketchikan, known as the ‘salmon capital of the world’. Be sure to sample some fresh local fare while you’re in town.

Continue southwards on your elegant cruise. Celebrate the end of a magnificent journey at a joyous farewell reception.

Arrive in Vancouver for your onward or homeward bound journey (please book flight to depart after 2pm). If your international flight departs after 5pm, take advantage of our hospitality lounge at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. We’ll be sorry to say goodbye after a wonderful journey.
